I always love to incorporate some sort of creative spin on gift giving. Josh had a birthday last week and rather than handing him a trip itinerary for a weekend in Mammoth, I decided to tell a story with a scrapbook card. This can be recreated for so many different occasions.
Supplies:
large piece of card stock cut down to 16 1/2 ” x 18 1/2″ and folded into a tri-fold (Paper Source)
envelope (these from Paper Source will fit the above card dimensions)
3-d scrapbook stickers (Michaels)
scrapbook paper (Paper Source and Michaels)
letter stamps and stamp pad (Paper Source)
washi tape (Paper Source but now thinking this one would have been perfect)
glue stick
ruler
Directions:
Once I folded my card stock into a tri-fold, I cut the layered paper free handily and glued in each fold. I then stamped my message and added the 3-d stickers, washi tape, etc. To create the pocket holding the tickets, I simply cut a square to size and then glued in a u shape along the circumference. I dressed up the envelope with some scrap paper and washi tape, labeled it, and voila!
Happy crafting.
