Where my best friend calls home

As I told you here, I have a secret to the mommyhood.

Sometimes it is nice to escape reality and jet across country where life moves just a little bit slower.

Time doesn’t exist. People make eye contact and smile. They help each other out. Everyone knows everyone.

It’s the small town kind of life.  A life that secretly has a piece of your heart.

The best part? Seasons exist.

A place quite different than your reality, but a place your best friend calls home.

The best friend that has seen you at your worst.

The best friend that has seen you at your best.

She’s laughed with you. Cried with you. Mended broken hearts with you.

You’ve been thru so many life experiences together that you two are sisters.

She reminds you of who you are. Where you came from. What you LOVE.

You trust her more than anyone else on this earth, sometimes more than you trust yourself.

The one you can sit down for coffee with, and 3 hours later,

you’ve both cried and laughed so hard your tummy hurts….

You love her more than life itself and after 4 full days together,

you STILL have so much to talk about.

I LOVE you Alle. Thank you for showing me the best time in Maysville and Cinci.

AWE! Sounds/looks like an amazing trip! Having ONE best friend is better than knowing SEVERAL acquaintances …. you are a lucky gal.

‘Where there are seasons’ …. take me there! 🙂
