Paper Doll Clothing Co. Winter 14′

It’s safe to say that my little clothing company ate my blog. I’ve been living and breathing all things Paper Doll and couldn’t be more blessed by the amazing response we’ve gotten. I do miss this space more than you know, and really want to come back with a bang after the first of the year.

Our holiday collection is too cute not to share so I wanted to dedicate a post to our Winter 14′ collection. Everything is available online and will ship in time for Christmas.

Wedding: How I asked my bridesmaids…

I’m back!

I never intended on taking such a long break from this blog. Life just happened and I apologize for that. I’ve taken this time to focus on what drives me and reevaluate my direction here as a blogger. For all those that continue to stick by me, thank you.

I am so excited to share all things WEDDING in the coming months. Up first, how I asked my bridesmaids…

I sat on this for an entire month because I knew I wanted to find a unique way to pop the question to my best girls. I ended up ordering custom wine bottle labels from Label of Love. Because each one of my bridesmaids is unique in their own way, I was able to customize sayings on how each girl has touched my life. In addition to the saying, our wedding date and location were on each label and the amazing girls behind the business even incorporated our wedding colors, blush, ivory, and gold.

The whole process was extremely easy. I went down to Trader Joe’s and bought wine, and then took each bottle home and soaked it in water with 2 tbsp of baking soda. The baking soda helped soften the original wine label for removal. Some labels are easier to remove then others, and for the tougher ones we used a razor blade to get all the residue off. Once completely try we placed our custom labels on and DONE. Also, Label of Love is so fab, that if you don’t get the placement right the first time, you can simply peel the label right off and start over.

Thank you Label of Love for creating such a meaningful sentiment for our special day.

Life Lately

I was beginning to think the blog world was conspiring against me. Every time I’d go to prepare a post, something would go wrong. WordPress down, editing errors, writers block… you name it. But here’s a little post, FINALLY, to let you know that we are alive and well and very much in wedding planning mode.

Loving my initial “B” pillow from Sweet Sugar Beet as a momento in becoming Mrs. Baltimore.

Happy first day of Fall.

March 13, 2015

We have a DATE and VENUE.

On March 13, 2015, Josh and I are GETTING MARRIED in Malibu, California.

I couldn’t be more excited to marry my best friend.

This entire process has been completely surreal and something I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl. Stepping into wedding gowns, picking colors, choosing my best girls to be by my side, interviewing vendors to create our picture perfect day, planning our life as husband and wife. An extra bonus to this whole journey is getting to share it with my sweet girl Landyn. She is so excited for “our wedding”. There is nothing better.

I’ll share more details as we finalize more. You can follow my Pinterest wedding board “Becoming Mrs. Baltimore” to see my inspiration for our “rustic glam” themed wedding.

It’s been years of up’s and down’s for me and I couldn’t feel more confident about Josh and I’s future. I’m SO excited to close my chapter on “life as a single mom” and embark on this journey as one. Life has been good to me.
