“Big Hair Don’t Care”

To say I am completely obsessed with Paper Doll Clothing Co’s quirky “big hair don’t care” racer back tank, is an understatement. I don’t even have big hair, and I love rocking it. Because most day’s I have that messy mom hair and it seems rather appropriate. It’s super soft and the tri-blend grey can be styled so many different ways for summer.

We are slowly working on some big changes around here and I can’t wait to share. I am at the mercy of my web designer at this point…patience Lindsay.

Have a great week.

Most days you will find me dressed down like this or in workout clothes with my hair pulled back in a pony tail or braid. It’s how I roll. I’ve never been one to put too much effort into my morning routine. And to think I used to not leave the house without heels and makeup… my times have changed.

So the party planning for Landyn’s fifth birthday has begun. T minus 2 months and I am starting to get my ducks in a row. I don’t know who’s more excited about it, her or me. I can’t wait to share all the details with you.

Have a great week.

“Dream On”

I am a dreamer. I always have been. I always thought my dreams were something I’d eventually grow out of when I “grew up”. But it was quite the opposite. Since becoming a mom, I dream even wilder. I dream for myself and I dream for my family. I’ve learned that today’s dreams become tomorrows realities.

I remember having big dreams as a kid. Dreams so big that people would often say the very phrase, “dream on” Lindsay. Maybe this sounded harsh, but it motivated me to push though the adversity to get what I wanted. Sometimes my dreams were totally far fetched, but they were a stepping stone. I teach the same to my daughter. I strive to let her imagination run wild so she see’s first hand that the skies the limit. This is a little bit of my inspiration behind our Paper Doll Clothing Company “dream on” tanks and tees. Dreams matter, and I’m all about wearing your message on your sleeve.

I’m back. Please excuse my brief absence. We are wrapping up our last and final week of preschool and things have been busy to say the least. I’m super nostalgic about my one and only baby finishing up preschool. As if that isn’t enough, our new elementary school decided to have the “kindergarden orientation” this week too. Perfect timing. It’s a good nostalgic though. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to attend some of the best schools and watching Landyn spread her wings is a good thing. I just have a hard time letting go. I always have.

I’ve styled this top 34566 different ways since receiving it, and my bestie over at Hazel & Olive Boutique just restocked her best selling shirt. A summer must have you guys. Scoop it up before it sells out again.

Have a wonderful weekend. I’ll be back next week.
