Paper Doll Clothing Co. Winter 14′

It’s safe to say that my little clothing company ate my blog. I’ve been living and breathing all things Paper Doll and couldn’t be more blessed by the amazing response we’ve gotten. I do miss this space more than you know, and really want to come back with a bang after the first of the year.

Our holiday collection is too cute not to share so I wanted to dedicate a post to our Winter 14′ collection. Everything is available online and will ship in time for Christmas.

Better Late then never {Christmas 2013}

Right after Christmas we jetted to Oregon, and I left all my pictures behind. This week I’ve been playing catch up and I finally got a post together of our 2013 Christmas. It was a special day spent blending families, creating new traditions, and focusing on the reason for the season. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…

The Christmas decor is down and I am ready to bring on Valentines Day. Life is most exciting when there is a holiday to celebrate.

Have a great week.

For me, the days leading up to Christmas are always spent caught up in the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping. I’ll have you know I finished ALL my shopping yesterday with 3 days to spare. It’s a record you guys. Hallelujah. Certainly I’ll be back for more…I never know how to be DONE when it comes to gift buying.

We are winding things down for a week of rest. In the past week, we’ve crammed in all things Christmas. Holiday sing alongs and Polar Express parties at preschool, cookie baking and way too many sweets, shopping, visits to Santa, gingerbread house building, time with family, and reflection.

One of my favorite traditions… a Wintersteen Farms wreath straight from Oregon. Your senses will thank you.

We are packing up and headed north to Oregon right after Christmas for a winter wonderland. Landyn’s first vacation will be in the books. A road trip to Oregon with a four year old. I must be getting brave.

Christmas is near.

I’m swooning over these festive numbers over at Groopdealz. They would both be a gorgeous addition to your holiday ensemble.

Hot Apple Pie Holiday Cocktail

IMG_3923 Every holiday season, my mom makes this apple cider cocktail for family and friends. It’s one of my favorites and always reminds me of the fall and winter months. It’s super easy and a great warm drink to entertain holiday guests with. I love staying up on Christmas eve by the tree and sipping on one of these. The ski slopes make awesome ones too.

Hot Apple Pie Cocktail

(recipe per drink)

warm apple cider (5 oz…Trader Joe’s sells it by the gallon)

Tuaca liquor (1 oz)

Top with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar.

I added marshmallows and red sugar sprinkles for a festive look.

What’s your favorite holiday drink?
