I’ve decided that a child’s fourth year of life is pretty awesome. What a treat this stage is. Landyn’s enthusiastic spirit this Halloween was contagious and had us doing Halloween festivities up until the very last minute. What a great holiday season it is going to be.

We did things a little different this year and spent Halloween with one of my closest friends from High School. She held her first annual block party and it reminded me of how much I love that sense of neighborhood community. Where people come together to celebrate tradition. Where kids can ride their bikes up and down the street without worry. Where people look out for each other and treat your kids as their own. It takes a village.
